This drop in class for jr high and high school students is half-guided lesson and half open studio. One lesson it might cover perspective, a famous artist or design elements and another week we might cover charcoal drawing, painting mediums, value studies or colored pencil. Supplies will be provided for these lessons. The open studio time offers additional technique and personal coaching as the student works on the project of their choice. Positive feedback will be given in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere.

Art for 2
Offered approximately once a month at Naperville Art League, Naperville, IL Fee: $12 Ages pre-k & K
Young artists will bring one of their favorite adults with them to class. Together they will explore and create in 2 and 3-D. Art explorations are set up in stations and the art duos move through the activities at their own pace. Focus is on creative play and a positive experience. Dress for mess.
Fun

create. Artists will be introduced to different styles of art, they’ll
talk about some famous artists and create 2 and 3D works to go with the
subject. The classes are small with plenty of attention and positive

Home School Groups, social groups, youth group, scouts and special needs groups are invited to set up an occasional or regular schedule for art experiences.
A new lesson each week followed by open studio time to work on individual projects. Informative, friendly and supportive. Come try a class or give one as a gift.

On Thursday’s we blend art basics and individual creativity through our on going classes offered for Elementary students from 4-5 p.m. or for Teens and Tweens from 5-6:30 p.m.

Summer camps are approaching. First up is a Painting class for teens at Naperville Gallery and Fine Art Center, 508 N Center St, Naperville, IL. This class is for junior high and high school students and will run in the mornings June 29- July 1. Painting in a variety of styles on several different surfaces with plenty of attention and encouragement. This is a great intrduction or re introduction into painting.
